DIRECTOR OF ARCHITECTURE.

Are you an experienced architectural director or an associate looking to be part of something bigger? This role is open due to our business approach leading us to an ever-expanding client base, increasing our demand. We are set on a secondary location in Surrey, but we also see this as an opportunity to expand our leadership team. For the right candidate, this location can be built around them, utilising well-established infrastructure, resources, and full support. We are looking for a strong, driven individual who can see our expansion strategy and aid us in our ambitious growth plans as we revolutionise the industry. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • Ideally, 10 years experience, but a proven track record is more desirable. • Needs a strong existing client base and understanding of the industry. • Must have a large-scale residential background, working with PLCs and SMEs. • Must have master planning experience. • People skills – Internally & Externally • A leader, not a boss/hands-on director - (Not a benchwarmer) • Three C's - Confidence, Communication & Creativity • Sees the benefit of our ambitious growth plans; we are more than an architectural practice. • Understand the balance of business & architecture. • Desire to set up, operate & lead a new location. • Understand our approach, see our goals, and deliver them alongside us. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop concept design and master planning to suit the client brief with the ability to provide unique solutions and original thinking where required. • Manage project teams and work on a variety of design projects. • Expert knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the architecture industry. • Present client presentations and planning responsibilities – public engagements, design review panels, public examinations • Build effective relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities. • Responsible for prioritising and delivering client satisfaction. • Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the Architectural team. • Responsible for QA/QC process adherence. • Understanding & compliance of up-to-date UK approved documents • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the architecture industry. • Lead the Architectural team and provide mentoring to the Architectural team. • Client-facing with the ability to discuss and agree on client requirements. • Manage multiple projects and deadlines. • Interact professionally with clients and colleagues to achieve project objectives. • Strong project administration skills.

ARCHITECT.

This is a role within the architectural team, and in collaboration with Directors, you will be responsible for leading small and large-scale projects from design stages through to delivery, alongside liaising and building relationships with clients and consultants. You will be involved in the core of the business, delivering projects to meet targets and drive growth. Your new role comes with a high level of responsibility and rewards in line with the level of integration within the business. We are looking for a strong, driven individual who can see our expansion strategy and aid us in our ambitious growth plans as we revolutionise the industry. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • A highly skilled and confident Architect with impeccable CAD knowledge and skills • A deep understanding of the business of Architecture and RIBA process (stages 0-4) with proven experience in producing detailed technical drawings and planning packages for small and large-scale residential schemes in accordance with current building legislations. • Experience in masterplanning with the ability to conceptualise a scheme working within the required client brief to deliver the best and most viable outcomes. • A confident, proactive, and focused individual who is highly organised with the ability to carry out multiple tasks to a high standard whilst working in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop is desirable. • You will have experience working in a similar role with an architectural practice, and ideally, you are RIBA registered, but not necessary. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare designs using AutoCAD and traditional design methods utilising your detailed knowledge of UK planning, building regulations, and best practice standards. • Prepare specifications, proposals, and applications across residential, commercial and development projects. • Prepare concepts and feasibilities to tender out for client schemes and form agreements with clients. • Coordinate with other department members to deliver project requirements within the agreed time scope. • Attend site visits and liaise with clients, project partners, and consultants. • Assist in business development and obtaining new clients to drive growth.

TECHNICAL MANAGER.

We are looking for a Technical Manager with experience in residential new build developments from small-scale to large-scale housebuilder sites. You will be key in ensuring the A2 architectural output is compliant with the current construction methods, building regulations and NHBC standards. Strong on-site experience and project management of minor-scale residential developments is key. This role offers a high level of autonomy and visibility within the business and is ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, problem-solving, and driving project success. We are looking for an experienced, decisive, and knowledgeable individual with a strong technical mindset to help us scale efficiently while maintaining design and technical quality. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • An experienced Technical Manager with a track record of delivering high-quality residential schemes. • In-depth understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work, especially stages 4–6, with a clear ability to manage information flow, specifications, and coordination. • Proven ability to lead teams, mentor junior staff, and manage consultants, contractors, and clients. ● Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing, with an ability to review, critique, and guide technical outputs from the team. • Confident in managing workload and priorities under pressure, while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. • Proficiency in Autocad is essential; Revit proficiency is desirable. Familiarity with NBS Specification. • This role requires previous experience in a similar capacity within a developer or architecture setting. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who aligns with our vision for expansion and can support our ambitious growth plans as we strive to revolutionise the industry. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: •This is an entry level role, no experience required however any relevant knowledge/qualification will be useful •An interest in Computers/ Computer Aided Design (CAD) •Willing to work in a team •Interested in the industry and willing to learn •A confident individual who is organised and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. •Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for the role, training will be provided in house to achieve this.
